Hi I’m Ben and I run Dalston Chillies. I’m a food obsessed veggie and I grew up in Hackney surrounded by a whole world of food influences. I used to make what is now the Original Hot Sauce for myself and after friends tasted it, I found myself making more and more. After scoring second place at the Fiery Foods Festival in 2011 I decided to give it a push and see where it would lead. Fast forward to the end of 2014 and I handed in my notice at work so I could give Dalston Chillies my full attention. I’ve been running full time since January 2015 and have amassed a sizeable list of customers from bars and restaurants, to shops and markets.
